The system of coded tools and operator guidance developed by PROFILMETALL enables a reliable set-up and a quick start of production. This method avoids mixing up tools and simpifies the set-up process, especially if there are great varieties of section required.
Tooling systems encoded with RFID chips allow the data stored for the respective tooling set to be used for operator guidance when setting up rollforming systems. The control system guides the machine operator through an interactive dialogue and show him how and where the correct tools are to be positioned.
